Williston faced Dickinson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Coyotes were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Midgets. The victory was familiar territory for the Coyotes, who have now won six games in a row.

Alana Thomas spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits.

At the plate, Chloee Stundal and Lola Senderhauf did most of the damage at the plate: Stundal went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Senderhauf went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Senderhauf has snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Akayla Slagle, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Williston was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .350 or higher in six consecutive matches.

Williston pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Dickinson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Williston will head out to challenge Jamestown at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Dickinson will be paying especially close attention to the Coyotes' contest: after the Coyotes face off against the Bluejays, they'll take on Dickinson again at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
