Football Recap: Griselis Perez and Jessaiah Reynoso Secure Win for Passaic

Passaic fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They strolled past the Teaneck Highwaymen with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 20-6.

A big part of Passaic's win came down to the chemistry between Jessaiah Reynoso and her top target Griselis Perez. Reynoso threw for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes while Perez picked up 71 receiving yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave Perez a new career-high in passer rating (137.5).

Passaic didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Embeth Ruiz, Perez, and Reynoso picked up one apiece.

Passaic's victory bumped their record up to 2-5-1. As for Teaneck, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

As of now, neither Passaic nor the Highwaymen have any future games scheduled.
