Basketball Recap: Davenport West Comes Up Short

Davenport West lost against Bettendorf back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Davenport West Falcons fell 63-51 to the Bettendorf Bulldogs. The loss leaves the Falcons without a win on the season.

Davenport West's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bettendorf, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

Davenport West will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Davenport West is facing Clinton at the right time seeing as Clinton is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Bettendorf, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sterling at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
