Basketball Game Preview: George-Little Rock Mustangs vs. Sheldon Orabs

The George-Little Rock Mustangs will take on the Sheldon Orabs in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. George-Little Rock is looking for their season's first win.

Last Tuesday, George-Little Rock took a blow against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, falling 81-13. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Sheldon was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 48-44 to Rock Valley. The Orabs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

George-Little Rock's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sheldon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

George-Little Rock strolled past Sheldon in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 57-42. Will George-Little Rock repeat their success, or does Sheldon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
