Sterling waltzed into their contest  on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Centauri Falcons by a score of  2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-20,  25-16.
 Karsyn Tonche paced Sterling's offense, picking up nine kills. Tonche got some help from  Berkley Gardiner and her 17 assists.  Kenzi Rubottom controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Sterling's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Centauri, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
 Sterling didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-0  win against Wiggins on the 18th. As for Centauri, they will challenge Pagosa Springs at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak.
