Soccer Recap: Staley's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Staley came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They skirted past the Blue Springs Wildcats 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in April.

Staley's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Blue Springs, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Staley and Blue Springs could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Falcons (ranked 98th) will meet Liberty North (ranked 33rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Blue Springs will challenge Blue Springs South at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (120 vs. 19).
