Volleyball Recap: Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

Chapel Hill was the 2-0 winner over Hooks when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Devils fell 3-1 to the Hornets on Tuesday. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chapel Hill actually scored more points across those four sets (91-82), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-23, 7-25, 25-22, 25-21.

Chapel Hill's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Hooks, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coincidentally, Chapel Hill and Hooks will both be playing Gilmer the next time they take the court. The Red Devils will head out to face the Buckeyes at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
