Softball Recap: Thornton Fractional North Takes a Loss

Thornton Fractional North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 17-4 to the Bremen Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on April 14th.

Thornton Fractional North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stephanie Montiel, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Thornton Fractional North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Bremen, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.

Thornton Fractional North wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 22-11 loss against Hillcrest on the 30th. As for Bremen, they will welcome Shepard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Astros will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight.
