Baseball Recap: Orange County Takes a Loss

Orange County was the 6-5 winner over Western Albemarle when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Hornets fell 7-2 to the Warriors on Tuesday.

Orange County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Western Albemarle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Orange County will face off against rival Louisa County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Western Albemarle is set to square off against their familiar foe Fluvanna County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
