Baseball Recap: Enumclaw Extends Road Winning Streak to 15

Enumclaw put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Auburn Mountainview Lions. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-2 last Monday.

The team relied heavily on Landon Wall, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Juden Jones was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Wall wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Enumclaw lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Enumclaw's win was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Auburn Mountainview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enumclaw will face off against Kentlake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Kentlake's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Enumclaw's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Auburn Mountainview, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Federal Way at 4:00 p.m. on April 7.
