Recap: Gregory Gorillas vs. Wagner Red Raiders
The Gregory Gorillas stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 61-32 win over Wagner. The win was familiar territory for Gregory who now have three in a row.
Cruz Klundt continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Daniel Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Gregory is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Wagner, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
Gregory will look to defend their home court on Friday against Scotland at 8:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Gregory's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Scotland has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road. As for Wagner, they will take on Chamberlain at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Chamberlain knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Wagner likes a good challenge.
