Basketball Game Preview: Marion Harding Presidents vs. River Valley Vikings

The Marion Harding Presidents will square off against the River Valley Vikings at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Marion Harding sitting on ten straight victories and River Valley on four.

Marion Harding is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Highland: they outscored them in every quarter. Marion Harding walked away with a 52-42 win over Highland on Saturday. Given the Presidents' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Fighting Scots are ranked 442nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, River Valley made easy work of West Liberty-Salem on Monday and carried off a 76-50 victory. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 26 points or more this season.

River Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Marion Harding, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
