Volleyball Recap: New Bern Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win + How To Watch

New Bern entered their tilt with West Craven on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Eagles 3-0. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

New Bern never let West Craven on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-12, 25-19.

New Bern was led to victory by Allie Tuzo and Gabrielle Pidgeon. Tuzo had 12 digs and five aces, while Pidgeon had ten digs. Those five aces gave Tuzo a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: New Bern was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

New Bern's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for West Craven, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Bern will challenge Coastal Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Craven, they will take on East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
