Volleyball Recap: Logan/Palco's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Logan/Palco posted their closest win since September 30th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Northern Valley Huskies 2-1. This was a revenge game for Logan/Palco: when they faced off against Northern Valley on Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Logan/Palco got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-13, 21-25, 31-29.

Hope Couse paced Logan/Palco's offense, picking up nine kills. Couse got some help from Breyer Delimont and her 11 assists. Finally, Lylah Voss kept Logan/Palco's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Logan/Palco's victory ended a five-match drought on the road and puts them at 12-22. As for Northern Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's still a better percentage than their 6-25 record this season.

Logan/Palco and Northern Valley are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, Logan/Palco and Pawnee Heights will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northern Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Wheatland-Grinnell on Tuesday.
