Basketball Game Preview: Treasure Coast Titans vs. Sebastian River Sharks

Treasure Coast and Sebastian River are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Titans will head out on the road to face off against the Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Treasure Coast is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Treasure Coast is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Port St. Lucie: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Titans blew the Jaguars out of the water with a 55-5 final score. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 32 points or more this season.

Treasure Coast got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kenya Burns out in front who posted 17 points. That's the most points Burns has posted since back in November of 2024. Reniah Flynn was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Meanwhile, Sebastian River didn't have too much trouble with Viera on Friday as they won 52-36.

Sebastian River's win came from a few key players Treasure Coast will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Eklessia Anderson, who shot 41% from the field to rack up 18 points and four steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Avonti Jennings, who went 7-for-14 on her way to 14 points along with eight boards and three steals.

Treasure Coast's record now sits at 11-0. As for Sebastian River, their record is now 6-2.

Treasure Coast came up short against Sebastian River in their previous meeting back in January, falling 44-34. Can the Titans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
