Cholla came into Tuesday's matchup having lost ten straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Amphitheater Panthers on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Chargers have posted since March 26, 2024.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (102-98) Cholla actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-22, 25-20, 17-25, 15-10.

Cholla picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-11. As for Amphitheater, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Cholla and Amphitheater will both be playing Sahuarita the next time they take the court. The Chargers will host the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
