Softball Recap: Arundel Extends Road Winning Streak to Six

Arundel's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They didn't even let the Severn Run Wolves on the board, marking the Wildcats' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by ten runs or more this season.

Arundel's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Severn Run, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Arundel wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Chesapeake on the 23rd. Severn Run has also already played their next contest (against Severna Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
