Softball Recap: Barron Comes Up Short

Barron lost against Hayward back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Bears lost 11-4 to the Hurricanes. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hannah Coss was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Barron's loss dropped their record down to 11-6-1. As for Hayward, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Barron and Hayward will both be playing Northwestern the next time they take the field. The Golden Bears will host the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Hurricanes will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
