After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ridgeline, Bear River was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They managed a 53-49 win over the Green Canyon Wolves. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Wolves back in January, they had to take a 66-48 defeat.

Despite the loss, Green Canyon still got an impressive performance from Carter Etherington, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds. Etherington is becoming a predictor of the Wolves' success: when he posts at least ten boards the team is 8-1 (and 6-7 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Gavin Crane, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 15 points.

Bear River's record now sits at 9-13. As for Green Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
