Recap: Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans vs. Hickory Red Tornadoes
While it was all tied up 29-29 at halftime, the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans were not quite the Hickory Red Tornadoes's equal in the second half on Saturday. Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hickory to victory, but perhaps none more so than Izaiah Littlejohn, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Lineberger, who scored 11 points.
Wesleyan Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Hickory, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Wesleyan Christian Academy will be playing at home against Grace Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hickory, they will head out on the road to challenge West Iredell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Iredell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 643rd, while Hickory is ranked 19th).
