St. Clair County entered their tilt with Pisgah on Friday with five consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Pisgah Eagles 10-4. While the Fighting Saints didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-22-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Aniyah Dean was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3.  Kaylann Byers was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 St. Clair County  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most five  strikeouts in nine consecutive  contests.
St. Clair County's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Pisgah,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
 Coming up, St. Clair County will challenge Alexandria at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday. St. Clair County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5  runs per game  this season. Pisgah has  already played their next  game (against Collinsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
