Softball Recap: Tuscaloosa Christian Takes a Loss

Tuscaloosa Christian was the 25-10 winner over Tabernacle when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tuscaloosa Christian Warriors lost 19-8 to the Tabernacle Torches on Thursday.

Jordan Walters and Kaleigh McKeough stepped up to the plate in a big way. Walters scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while McKeough scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Allison Mullinex was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Tuscaloosa Christian's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Tabernacle, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tuscaloosa Christian will challenge North River Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Tuscaloosa Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season. Tabernacle will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Clay County Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 4th.
