Baseball Recap: Cocoa Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Cocoa's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Evans Trojans on Wednesday. The defeat leaves the Tigers still looking for their first win of the season.

Cocoa saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Brock, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Cocoa's record now sits at 0-15. As for Evans, their victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-11.

Coming up, Cocoa will head out to challenge Palm Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Evans, they will be playing at home against Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
