Basketball Recap: Nevada Takes a Loss

Nevada has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 72-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the Blevins Hornets. The Blue Jays were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Nevada's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 16-6. As for Blevins, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Nevada will take on Umpire at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blevins, they will square off against Lafayette County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
