League recap: Scanlon dominating on the mound for Waltham

Dual County league recap: 6/5/13

Richie Scanlon was the best pitcher in Dual County this week, leading Waltham. He won one game and struck out eight batters.

Dana Parello was the hottest hitter in the league this week, racking up a .500 average, one home run and four RBIs. The Hawks compiled a record of -1--1 in that time.

Waltham boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

Three batters hit over .400 this week. Leading the pack was Joe Dwyer, who hit .500 by going 3-for-6.



The week's strikeout crown belonged to Scanlon, who turned in eight Ks for the Hawks. He's first in the league with 38 total strikeouts.
