Fleming County will face off against Augusta at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Fleming County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Fleming County came up short against Grant County and fell 7-2. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly five runs.

Abby Ross spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up ten Ks.

Meanwhile, Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-4 to Robertson County.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Fleming County, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Fleming County took their victory against Augusta in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 18-0 score. Will Fleming County repeat their success, or does Augusta has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
