Basketball Recap: St. Cloud Tech Comes Up Short

St. Cloud Tech lost against Alexandria back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. Cloud Tech Tigers had to suffer through a 112-55 loss at the hands of the Alexandria Cardinals. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 65-28.

It was another big night for Chase Thompson, who went 14 for 19 on his way to 32 points for Alexandria. Another player making a difference was Gavin Roderick, who went 9 of 15 en route to 21 points.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Cloud Tech and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Alexandria, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

St. Cloud Tech will venture away from home to challenge Brainerd at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. Alexandria has already played their next game (against Benilde-St. Margaret's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
