Basketball Recap: Post Comes Up Short

Post lost against Tahoka back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Post Antelopes took a hard 57-41 fall against the Tahoka Bulldogs. The Antelopes were down 44-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Tahoka's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brogan Stone, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 14 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sacha Loi, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 boards.

Post's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Tahoka, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Floydada the next time they take the court. Post will head out to face Floydada at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Tahoka will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on January 21st.
