Foster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 16-11 to the Lindbergh Eagles. On the bright side, the 11- run performance marked the Bulldogs' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Josue Delgado made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Those runs were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Flores, who scored two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Foster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Lindbergh, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Coming up, Foster will welcome Evergreen at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolverines have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Lindbergh, they will venture away from home to face off against Tyee at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
