Football Game Recap: Golden West vs. Madera South

Everything went Golden West's way against Madera South on Friday as they made off with a 49-22 victory. Golden West have a history of success against Madera South, winning their last head-to-head 49-22.

Golden West's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 35 points in the first half. Madera South came up with 7 to make it 35-7 heading into the break. Golden West were outperformed in the second half 14-15 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win got them back to even at 2-2. Madera South are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Next week Golden West take on Porterville at 7:30 PM. As for Madera South, they will face off against Fresno.
