Recap: Rockmart Yellowjackets vs. Haralson County Rebels
The Rockmart Yellowjackets put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Haralson County, posting a 94-32 victory at home. The result was nothing new for Rockmart, who have now won five matches by 25 points or more so far this season.
Rockmart had a senior duo take command as Treylin Davis scored 27 points along with nine rebounds and five steals and Samuel Johnson scored 24 points along with five assists. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least 25% of Rockmart's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Luke, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Rockmart pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.0 points per game. As for Haralson County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Rockmart and Hokes Bluff will round out the year against one another at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Haralson County will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Pepperell at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. Pepperell is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
