Baseball Recap: Wink Wildcats vs. Trinity Chargers
Wink won the last time they faced Trinity and things went their way on Monday too. The Wink Wildcats put the hurt on the Trinity Chargers with a sharp 20-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.
CAYTON NOYOLA made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in March of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Wink now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Trinity, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
Looking ahead, Wink will face off against Seagraves at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Wink knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Seagraves likes a good challenge. Trinity will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lubbock Christian at 4:30 p.m. on March 25th.
