Volleyball Recap: Round Valley Extends Winning Streak to Four

Round Valley had won three straight games and Kylar Penrod did her part to make it four on Wednesday. The Elks walked away with a 3-1 victory over the St. Johns Redskins with plenty of help from Penrod, who had 19 assists and ten digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-16, 27-25.

Round Valley's win bumped their record up to 22-8. As for St. Johns, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.

Coming up, Round Valley will be playing at home against Alchesay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Elks are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for St. Johns, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Miami on the 23rd.
