Football Game Recap: Washington Township vs. Vineland

Vineland had a rough outing against Rancocas Valley last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Vineland put the hurt on Washington Township with a sharp 31-7 victory. That looming 24-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Vineland yet.

The win bumped Vineland's record up to 3-5. Washington Township's loss makes it three in a row and drags their record down to 2-5.

Vineland will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against Millville in five weeks at 10:30 AM. Millville are cruising in on a five-game winning streak. As for Washington Township, they will go up against Hammonton. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
