Kirby came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 59-55 W against the Ridgeway Roadrunners. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Roadrunners back in February, they had to take a 76-75 defeat.

Despite the loss, Ridgeway still got an impressive performance from Demario Johnson, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in boards. Kareem Ollins was another key player, putting up ten points and three blocks.

Kirby's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Ridgeway, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 14-10 record.
