Baseball Game Preview: Carlisle Thundering Herd vs. Central Dauphin East Panthers

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carlisle's offense. They fell 5-0 to Hershey on Tuesday. The Thundering Herd haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Central Dauphin East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They came up short against Palmyra, falling 9-1.

Donavan Thompson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season.

Carlisle's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Central Dauphin East, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Everything went Carlisle's way against Central Dauphin East in their previous meeting back in April, as Carlisle made off with a 13-4 win. Will the Thundering Herd repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
