Baseball Recap: Armwood Hawks vs. Hillsborough Terriers
The third road match was the charm for Armwood, as they earned their first road win of the season. They put the hurt on the Hillsborough Terriers with a sharp 10-0 win on Thursday. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Terriers, too.
Armwood got a great performance from Rhyan Yetman as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Yetman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Rhys Brush was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Armwood's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-4 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Carlos Navarro, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Armwood kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
