A Season-Best  Performance from  Dash Beierly Leads Mater Dei over St. John Bosco
 On Friday, Mater Dei got the W thanks in part to  Dash Beierly playing the best football he has all season. Beierly wasn't messing around, throwing for 308 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 43 yards and a touchdown. The  match was his third straight with three or   more passing touchdowns.
 The  victory for Mater Dei keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Beierly and Mater Dei will square off against Orange Lutheran at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Big Game from Mosley As Santa Margarita Fell 35-33
  Trent Mosley put up the most  rushing yards he's  had since back in October of 2023 on Thursday. He picked up 123 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. Mosley is  crushing it when it comes to  receiving yards: he's   posted at least 111 every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Unfortunately for JSerra Catholic, this isn't the first big game they've seen from  Mosley. When  Mosley last faced the Lions  back in October of 2023, he picked up 230 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

Tj Lateef and Co. Win Third in a Row
  Tj Lateef was instrumental in extending Orange Lutheran's winning streak to three on Friday. Lateef turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 176 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
 Orange Lutheran's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-2. Lateef will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant  performance when he faces off against Mater Dei on Friday.

Jordon Davison Goes Supernova in Mater Dei Win
  Jordon Davison's big game helped extend Mater Dei's winning streak to 14 on Friday. Nobody could stop  Davison as he rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 35 receiving yards.
 For the year,  Davison  has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 99.9 rushing yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he was only averaging 11.86  rushing yards per game.

Jaion "Duce" Smith Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 On Thursday, Santa Margarita had to settle for second even though  Jaion "Duce" Smith put up the best numbers he has all season. Smith rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown, good enough to  set a new career-high in  rushing yards in the process.
 This year,  Smith  has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 53.1 rushing yards per game.
