Recap: Downtown Doral Dolphins vs. iMater Charter Knights
The Downtown Doral Dolphins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. They were the victim of a tough 87-61 defeat at the hands of IMater Charter. Downtown Doral has not had much luck with iMater Charter recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Downtown Doral still got an impressive performance from Juan Diego Castro, who scored 41 points. The game was Castro's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Giancarlo Romero, who scored five points.
Downtown Doral's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-10. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for iMater Charter, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Downtown Doral will face off against Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for iMater Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Mater Brickell Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
