Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Thomas Aquinas). They came out on top against the Franklin Warriors by a score of 57-45 on Friday. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Warriors are ranked 192nd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Thomas Aquinas and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points over those games. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, St. Thomas Aquinas will welcome Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Franklin, they will venture away from home to take on Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
