Morrison had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Pawnee Black Bears. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Boston Green was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two triples, two RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kaden Meador, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Morrison's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Pawnee, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morrison will challenge Carney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pawnee, they will face off against Newkirk at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Black Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
