Basketball Recap: East Ridge Comes Up Short

East Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Pikeville Panthers, falling 77-13. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

East Ridge now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Pikeville, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

East Ridge is taking a road trip to challenge Tug Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tug Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Pikeville has already played their next game (against Martin County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
