Softball Recap: Clovis North Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clovis North extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping their season record up to 16-4-2 in the process. They came out on top against the Clovis West Golden Eagles by a score of 11-7. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Golden Eagles, too.

The team relied heavily on Jaelyn Clark, who went 1-for-3 with four RBI and one run. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brynn Gentry, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

As for Clovis West, they dropped their record down to 14-7-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this match were averaging 3.18 runs allowed.

On Clovis West's side, Haley Rangel made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
