Max Mendoza posted a new career-low in earned runs on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Carson's success: when he allows at most three earned runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-10 when he doesn't).
