Baseball Recap: Belton-Honea Path Comes Up Short

Belton-Honea Path came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the T.L. Hanna Yellow Jackets, falling 12-1. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Belton-Honea Path saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jud Lowie, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Belton-Honea Path dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for T.L. Hanna, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
