Marshall Reeves put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in February on Tuesday. He tossed five innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs he has had since back in February.

Even though Reeves couldn't lead Shepherd over Tarkington, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shepherd has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since March of 2020, but a win here would be a good start.
