Basketball Recap: St. John Bosco Academy Comes Up Short

St. John Bosco Academy lost against Friendship Christian back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. St. John Bosco Academy fell 76-67 to the Friendship Christian Spartans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (63), St. John Bosco Academy still had to take the loss.

It was another big night for Kevin Morozov, who posted 27 points for Friendship Christian. That's the most points Morozov has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Amir Bryant, who earned 15 points.

St. John Bosco Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Friendship Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

St. John Bosco Academy will square off against Georgia Force Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Friendship Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Philadelphia Christian School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Philadelphia Christian School is on a three-game streak of home wins, Friendship Christian a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
