Soccer Recap: North Shore Country Day Starts Season with Victory Against Senn

North Shore Country Day gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Senn Bulldogs a 4-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for North Shore Country Day, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

They hit Senn with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lexi Conine (2), Reese Meyers, and Kate Connolly.

Having lost for the first time this season, Senn fell to 2-1-1.

Coming up, North Shore Country Day will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Zion-Benton at 7:00 p.m. As for Senn, they will challenge Chicago Mathematics & Science at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. This will be Senn's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
