Basketball Recap: New Dimensions Takes a Loss

New Dimensions lost against Vanguard back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. New Dimensions fell 82-71 to the Vanguard Panthers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Vanguard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Turral Berry, who posted 29 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Berry has scored at least a third of Vanguard's points. Another player making a difference was Brian Glover, who earned 24 points in addition to five boards and five steals.

New Dimensions' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Vanguard, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

New Dimensions has already played their next matchup, a 67-52 loss against Cornerstone Charter Academy on the 23rd. As for Vanguard, they are taking a road trip to take on Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vanguard is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.6 points per game this season.
