Soccer Recap: Concord Takes a Loss

Concord lost against Winnacunnet back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crimson Tide fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Concord's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Winnacunnet, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1-2.

Concord has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Nashua South on the 20th. As for Winnacunnet, they will head out on the road to face off against Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average (Winnacunnet 0.4, Exeter 0.1) so any goals scored will be well earned.
